Honeybees

Ages 3-4

The Honeybee program is designed for pre-kindergarten-age children. Our weekly Core Concepts are created specifically for this age group. Campers enjoy a fun-filled summer while learning new skills along the way, such as early number literacy, artistic expression, and cooperation. This program aims to support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.

Children must be toilet trained to attend.

Core Concepts are curriculum-based themes that are designed and led by certified teachers!

Author Study: “Press Here”

June 8-12

Core concept: Don’t press here … or try it and see what adventures await! This interactive, colorful story will have campers laughing and learning all week long. Throughout the book, children are challenged to use their cognitive thinking skills as they make decisions on each flip of the page. Early readers will enjoy the colors and creative challenges the book offers! This week will be sure to have your child laughing all the way home!

Morning Program: $190 Full Day: $350

Ducks Go Quack!

June 15-18 (No Program June 19)

Core Concept: This week is for bird watchers and water animal enthusiasts! We will spend time learning about some of our favorite animals that live in the ponds in our neighborhoods and woods around us. We will practice making our own duck sounds, hop like frogs, and even slither like snakes. At the end of the week, a local park may even visit with animal friends that live in our own back yards! An important concept this week will be respecting and taking care of our environment!

Morning Program: $152 Full Day: $280

On Four Wheels

June 22-26

Core Concept: Zoom! Zip! Whoosh! As cars go speeding by, our campers will be in on the action! We will explore vehicles on wheels this week — from cars and planes to bikes and monster trucks. Children will work on their fine motor skills as they build tracks, obstacles, and more as they create their own Seven Hills Speedway: Summer Camp edition.

Morning Program: $190 Full Day: $350

The Big Birthday Bash

June 29-July 2 (No program July 3)

Core Concept: Let’s spend this week celebrating summer birthdays! We will turn our Early Childhood Center into a fancy restaurant and host a birthday party, complete with decorations, snacks and cards made by our own campers. This week will be extra special because we will make cards for those who might not always have someone to celebrate their birthdays with. This will help our campers learn about kindness and compassion.

Morning Program: $152 Full Day: $280

Wild About Watermelon

July 6-10

Core Concept: This sweet summer treat is the perfect camp theme for our students as they learn all about how these fruits grow, count seeds, and do creative arts and crafts based on pink and green colors. During this creative week, students will also plant seeds and learn about other fruits and veggies that grow during warm summer months. Time to celebrate a sweet and colorful summer!

Morning Program: $190 Full Day: $350

Learning to Count!

July 13-17

Core concept: Our youngest campers are just beginning to understand the concept of numbers and counting! We will explore the numbers one to 10 this week, and count things that are all around us! How many trees are on the playground? How many peas are on my plate? Numbers help children gain an understanding of the world around them and learn one to one correspondence. By exploring fun math games, puzzles, and books your camper will learn to count one to 10 with confidence and excitement!

Morning Program: $190 Full Day: $350

Splish, Splash, Sploosh

July 20-24

Core Concept: It’s water week and we are ready to get wet! This sensory week will explore all things water including rain, puddles, water play, and water experiments! We will read about water, we will paint with water, and we will certainly splash! This week, children should bring extra clothes — we are sure to get wild with water!

Morning Program: $190 Full Day: $350

Sparks of Art

July 27-31

Core Concept: As we get messy with art this week, we will focus on combining colors, playing with different art mediums, and even making art with found objects. By learning about different artists, and what inspired them, we hope to inspire our campers to find their creative “spark.” Each day we will learn about abstract artists, read books about colors, and discover what makes art such an important part of a child’s educational journey!

Morning Program: $190 Full Day: $350

S'More Camp Please

Aug. 3-7

Core Concept: Summer may be coming to a close, but we are offering one more week of Honeybee fun to make summer feel like it will last forever. We will let our imaginations run wild this week, while we go on a pretend camping trip and act like wilderness explorers. While on our adventure, we will sing classic camp songs, read books featuring animals in the woods, and make s’mores, of course!

Morning Program: $190 Full Day: $350
