Hive Flyers
Grades 1-2
Is your child making the transition to first and second grade and feeling not quite ready for our second through sixth grade camp group? Hive Flyers is for you! This program offers two morning classes with a recess or movement break between them. The morning classes provide a preview of the structure found in our second through sixth grade group, known as Create Your Summer. In the afternoon, your child can enjoy more traditional summer camp activities, including swimming, special enrichment classes, and sports. Swimming sessions occur twice a week at the nearby Losantiville Country Club, and transportation is provided by The Seven Hills School bus.

Movers and Makers Run by BUILD Occupational Therapists
This week, campers will engage in fun, hands-on activities that encourage problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and independence. From obstacle courses to sensory exploration to crafting, each activity is thoughtfully designed to help children develop fine motor skills, executive functioning, self-help skills, and social skills — all while having a blast!
Mini Makerspace
Getting creative with found materials is the name of the game this week! We will act as inventors and scientists and focus on the scientific method as we create projects to challenge our imaginations!

Magic School
Welcome wizards and spell casters to this week of magic school! Exploring the world of magical adventures through literature and song will be an enchanting experience for Hive Flyers. Grab your wands and brooms; we are ready to fly!
Gonna Be Golden — KPDH
Gear up for a week of all things K-Pop Demon Hunters! Together, we’ll seal the Honmoon with plenty of world tour preparations including crafts, HUNTR/X training, and choreography rehearsals. Are you ready for the takedown?

June 22-26 Morning Class Combos
Minecraft
Does your child love to build? How about in the virtual world? This intro to Minecraft will have your kids ready to take on creepers while building mighty fortresses. Children will work on iPads to get used to the program and may spend some time in our Middle School Innovation Lab.
Miniature Making Madness
Children love to create and what else do children love? Small things like Squishmallows and keychains. This art week will be all about tapping into the creative spirit. We will make mini clay figures, small melty bead creations, and maybe even miniature creations for our toys at home. Time to make art!

Outdoor Science Sleuths
Grab your binoculars and magnifying glasses and let’s get to exploring the grounds of Seven Hills! We still study bugs, analyze the clouds, and experiment with the power of the sun. Let’s explore!
Stamping and Printmaking
For our creative Hive Flyers, this week we will stretch their imaginations as they gain fun new art skills like carving and inking. We will focus on patterns and technique to make unique prints to display at home!

Let’s Go to the Market
Let’s all head to the market! We will find fresh fruit, vegetables, and healthy snacks for our growing bodies. We will celebrate the sweet bounty of summer this week and learn how fruits, veggies, and flowers grow in the summer. With a little sun, water, and love we will be growing our own plants too!
Boardgame Bonanza
Dice, cards, and board games are all about learning strategy and using logic — important skills in a child’s educational journey. This week, we will learn different games that involve math skills, counting, creativity, and of course, fun!

July 13-17 Morning Class Combos
Animal Rescuers
We love all creatures, great and small! This week, we will learn about taking care of different types of animals and all the work it takes to keep them healthy. There are even places like zoos and animal shelters that take in animals to keep them safe. We will learn about these conservation efforts and maybe have some animal visitors too.
Sports & Motion
Let’s get physical! We will focus on team work, gross motor skills, and sports that get our bodies moving. We also need to train for sports, so we will focus on some exercises that will make our bodies strong!

Dav Pilkey Week
Based on the beloved series "Captain Underpants" and "Dogman," this week will explore the world of Dav Pilkey. If your child loves comics, adventures, and comedy this week will have them laughing all the way through!
Full STEAM Ahead
All aboard the Hive Flyer train for a week full of science, math and more! Each day will focus on a letter and a project of the word STEAM. Your child will get a little taste of this wonderful topic that keeps kids entertained and curious as the summer comes to a close!

Tools for School
Get ready for the new school year! Brush up on reading, writing, and math skills each day. We will help you get back into the school routine with small group activities as well as one-on-one instruction.

Hive Flyers Plus
Hive Flyer campers have been having adventures all summer long, from swimming to art to sports, and this final week of camp will bring the adventures to them! Different visitors will come to campus and provide an enrichment activity that is sure to be your child’s highlight of the summer. Enrichment visitors will include local animal experts, naturalists from local parks, art specialists, and even scientists. Children will also visit local pools for some extra swim time. Campers will enjoy a week full of new experiences that will help them buzz right into the school year!
